Packaging wise they are miles apart. MUA's packaging isn't as sturdy as Mac's but you need to bear in mind the price difference here. MUA's also has a little pot of lipstick at the bottom making it easy to see the colour in your collection.
In the bullet & swatched these look identical. Formula wise I find the MUA lipstick to be much more moisturising on the lips. 'Hotscotch' is part of the Amplified range from Mac & even though it isn't drying I always tend to wear a lipgloss over it but this really isn't needed with the MUA lipstick.

Wear time is the same for both lipsticks, needing a touch up every hour or so.
The price difference with these is incredible. There is a whopping €17 difference in price!
If you had to pick which would you go for? Save or splurge?
I think the MUA lipstick wins hands down for me. It really packs a punch pigmentation wise & is purse friendly too!
